Incorrect installation lead to mold and damage to wood subfloor. According to manufacturer, SHAW FLOORS, “Do not apply sheet plastic over wood subfloors.” This is EXACTLY what the installers at MYNEWFLOORS did. Despite their incorrect installation, Rich and Tom at MYNEWFLOORS will not refund the thousands of dollars I paid them to purchase and install these floors. They are standing behind the install by stating the fine print in the contract. Nevertheless, my home is filled with mold, and the floors are destroyed because they installed the plastic over wood subfloor. DO NOT deal with them.

I got my floors done in December 2021 but am just now getting around to leaving a review. Carlo did my initial consultation in the showroom in Charlotte and Richard worked with me afterward to ensure I was kept up-to-date on the timing of the work. 3 guys worked on my floors and were done in one day (~600 sq ft of carpet was pulled up and replaced with LVP). The pricing was reasonable and the work was stellar. I would recommend this company to anyone. 2.5 years later and the floors still look incredible!

Mynewfloor is the best flooring company i have dealt with in 35 years. Their crews are employed by the company so there aren't 3rd party contractors to deal with, which was the primary sell for us. The crew ripped up 1800 square feet of bamboo and layed the white oak engineered floor in one day which was another plus. They even helped us move our old couch out and the new one in. Another big plus was the cost per square foot for material included the install and cleanup as well. First class from beginning to end.

The entire team at this establishment deserves nothing short of 5 stars! From our first interaction to the completion of the project, Melissa, Carlo, Rich, Thomaz, Alex, and the other three installers and finishers have been nothing but exemplary. Their professionalism, punctuality, and expertise truly stood out and exceeded all our expectations.Our home, built only three years ago, had an amalgamation of tile, hardwood, and carpet in various areas. Naturally, when the time came to change the carpet, we were anxious about our choices and the potential of mismatching the new hardwood or vinyl with the existing ones. However, Carlo's deep knowledge and insight made this process effortless. He was able to identify our current hardwood and ensure a seamless match as we extended it throughout the home.Working on the contracts and managing the project with Melissa and Rich was refreshingly straightforward. Their patience and openness to answer all my questions along the way further built our trust.Lastly, Thomaz, Alex, and the other three installers and finisher team. Their professionalism and hard work are noteworthy. Be prepared for a long installation day, but rest assured, their meticulousness is worth every minute. A special shoutout to the stain on the stairs matched perfectly to the floor, which, as many homeowners would understand, is no easy feat!Thank you to the entire team for making this process smooth and ensuring our home looks more beautiful than ever!

Thomas and his crew were an amazing team who worked well together to demo our 20 year old floors and the installation couldn’t have gone better. They were highly motivated and very efficient, fast and courteous and did everything with the best care possible. We really love the new look of the floors and feel like we are in a new home! I still can’t believe how much stuff fits in their work van! Well done boys! And the overall experience with Carlo Garcia and the project management team was great! Really had a great experience all around!

I love my new floors. I only had one issue on the day of my installation or I would have given 5 stars. On the day of installation the crew arrived 2.5 hrs late but it was due to material delays and I understand that comes along with construction. My experience was great! The entire process was seemless Carlo was very professional came out to my home for measurements and assisted with color and scheduling my installation. Rich was great with communication on what expectations on the day of installation and how to prepare, he answered all my questions. The installation crew was awesome Carlos, Rodrigo & Joseph did an amazing job - I will recommend mynewfloor to anyone interested in flooring. I will definitely be using them on my future flooring projects..

*Update at end*Initial review (2 stars): They installed my floors, whole house except bathrooms, a few months ago. Overall good, but they left two gashes in my kitchen doorway while moving my stackable w/d unit. I showed it to the lead guy on the install. He said he would fix it, but didn’t. If you guys come back and resolve this I’ll update my review to reflect it.Updated review as of Aug 2023 (4 stars): After seeing my review, the company contacted me and had someone come out to fix it. The doorway is now repaired and I'm pleased with the outcome. I recommend this company for flooring install.

Thomaz and the other gentleman (I didn’t catch his name, I’m sorry!) did a wonderful job on my new vinyl plank flooring. They were on time and were very professional. I think it looks great! After such a great experience with my main level, I look forward to the carpet install that will be completed in a couple days upstairs.

Used the company to replace old carpet with laminate flooring. I love the flooring but felt like there was scrapes along the molding and they left my bathroom pedestal sink unattached (i have to remount). Carlo was great to work with when looking at the samples, although I didn’t like that they didn’t offer samples that you could bring home and look at. The pricing was lowest as I got a couple quotes from different flooring places.

I love the floors! Absolute perfection. The install was incredible and I don't know how Thomaz and his team do it. Very professional and great guys.Honestly everything and everyone from start to finish were phenomenal! Carlo was easy to work with and helped explain our options thoroughly. After deciding on our floors both Melissa and Rich were there to explain the process and check in on the work being done. They even moved all of our furniture! Reach out, you won’t regret it.

We had new carpet installed in 3 bedrooms. The whole process with My New Floors was smooth and easy. They were able to schedule our install within a few weeks of picking out our selection. Once the crew showed up which was on time as scheduled they quickly went to work. I was very impressed with the professionalism and care they took. They screwed down loose boards at no extra charge. They carefully moved all our furniture and put it back after thoroughly cleaning up behind themselves. I was extremely please by how smoothly the whole process went and would highly recommend My New Floor for carpet installation.

Not one terrible thing to say about this experience. I LOVE MY NEW FLOORS! Carlo at the Blakeney office was so helpful and once it was time for install, I had great communication with Rich and Jonas. Their quality of flooring is top notch and even the LVT I put in my bathrooms. The install on the stairs was troublesome, but it wasn't MNF fault. Once they got the right tread for the stairs, it came together magically. I'm definitely returning to them when it's time for new carpet in the bedrooms!

The crew arrived on time and Thomas quickly reviewed everything with me and they got to work. He was even nice enough to cut a piece of the old floor out so I could keep it. The floor looks great and they left the house in great order. So fast and so good!!!

I had a phenomenal experience with MyNewFloor! From the showroom to the installation itself, the process was smooth. Carlo was really patient and helpful in the showroom and answered all my questions after providing an estimate. Rich is the project manager for the install and he was very helpful before and after the floor installation. We were told it would take two days to remove the existing floors and install the new floors, but Jonas and his crew were quick and efficient and did our entire first floor in one day! We are so pleased and love our new floors! It was well worth the time and the investment. Thank you!

Jonas and his helper arrived right on time and did an excellent job removing the carpet from our owners bedroom and installing new wood floors. They worked hard, were courteous, and got it all done in a day. This is the second job we had done by My New Floor and once again, we are very pleased. Mynewfloor.com was quick, efficient, and had great communication. After shopping around got over a year to match the flooring I had already downstairs, the team was able to find a similar option that looks great. I am so glad I went with them. The pricing was up front and they offer a 12 month no interest financing option. The team arrived on time, moved our furniture, completed the work thoroughly and quickly and moved the furniture back all in one day. The team followed up and was great. Would definitely recommend!

This company does not take responsibility for their mistakes when there is legitimate cause for complaint. In addition, they ensure they solicit positive reviews to counteract the impact of the negative ones. (Some of the people aren't even based in the US) They didn't prove trustworthy in their work or ethics. There are better places that you can spend your hard earned money.

We had install at our home Sept 9th - 10th, 2021. Professional estimate, professional with picking out the flooring. However, the professionalism stopped there. We were home for the entire install. They installed it in one 10-11 hour day. Normally that would be great, but the communication throughout the install was horrible.We were told we would get primed shoe molding, we did not. There were areas where there were problems. However, they didn't advise us of this at all. We found out when we were looking at the flooring at the end of the day.There was damage to one of our furniture pieces and they HID the piece inside the China Cabinet. [Smart move, because the contract says if you find damage after they leave, they are not responsible]I was also told they would prime the front rise of the stairwell. They did not.There were areas where I didn't like the install, like behind our stove. They left a gap where crumbs and things can get in and we will be unable to sweep it out.By the way, I didn't want to sign off on the job that night. It was late and I knew we didn't have time to inspect it properly. However, they didn't want to leave without having our signature (This is 8:30 or 9pm at night).This is besides the fact that they used our kitchen to heat their food (without permission) and even used our restroom to fully relieve themselves at the end of the night.I don't ever post public reviews, but the hidden damage to our furniture was my limit.You will save money for sure, but buyer beware. You will get what you pay for.** Update // They did follow up on my concerns with these things as well as some others I had, but did not mention in the review.They excused every single one of their actions and what they could not come up with an excuse for, they were unable to explain credibly.I am thoroughly happy for those who had a good experience. I did not. I won't be using them again.

Using MyNewFloor.com was a great experience for me from the start with Carlo, the estimator, Richard, the Project Manager, to Thomas and John the installers!Thomas and John did an OUTSTANDING job with the installation. They arrived on time and were finished with 2 bedrooms and 2 walk-in closets by 5! They were EXTREMELY professional, courteous, conscious of cleanliness, and great installers—can’t ask for much more!I would highly recommend this group for engineered, wood floor installation. I am very pleased.

We loved working with this company. Carlo came out for the initial estimate and from that moment on we knew we wanted them to do the job. The people are professional, timely and great at communication. Rich has been a great project manager and made it easy for us to know each step in the process and what we need to be prepared for. Prices are extremely affordable and reasonable for the amazing work their team does. We had carpet taken out and hardwoods installed to match our current hardwood floors. Gus was timely and helpful on the drop off of the materials and for our final sign off. They paid extremely close attention to matching the colors and just left after a walk through to ensure the job was properly done. Thank you for all of your work!

We purchased our house in Oct 2018, and we knew we were going to need to replace old carpet in the master bedroom and bonus room. We weren't moving in for a couple of years so we had to plan the installation to coordinate with one of our visits. Evelyn was super helpful, and we decided we'd shoot for the following April to get an estimate. Right on time, she called in April and set up an appointment for Carlo to come by to help us. During that visit, Carlo took measurements, and helped us decide on the product that best fit our needs and budget. We set up an installation date for the following June, when we would be visiting again.When Junior arrived with his two man crew, he took the time to go over the job. One of our concerns was that the floors had areas where they squeaked really bad. Junior explained the process of shimming under wall plates and screwing down our sub floor, but he was clear that he couldn't guarantee he could eliminate all of the noise. He suggested we might want to bring in a framing contractor to address the issue. We decided to move forward with the job. We never felt rushed or pressured.The installers were amazing. They were considerate, professional and pleasant. Their work was impeccable. They were meticulous in cleaning up all the dust and debris, and they helped us move our furniture back in place (we don't have much, but the bed was really heavy and difficult to move because of the adjustable frame). Also, to our delight, they had successfully eliminated almost all of the squeaking!Every step of the way, I was impressed by the care taken by the team at My New Floors. From scheduling to completion, it ran like a truly cohesive organization, where everyone involved was respected and valued, from the front office to the installers.You will not find a better option for whatever flooring project you want done than My New Floors.
